I had to do a repair installation of Windows XP today (to solve a booting
problem). Since then if I try to download anything via sites I'm getting two
empty IE boxes instead of the link.
Web pages are fine - its just download links by the look of it. The repair
might have re-set some IE settings but I can't spot anything that looks
likely.
Any suggestions would be appreciated- especially as I now need to download
some fairly hefty updates to get my system back to where it was.
