I have notice that after loading sp2 that if I run a
search and do a ctl alt del and look at performance the
cpu is at 100 percent is the a problem?

The question is does it remain always 100 percent or sometimes?If it
doesn't stay at 100 percent and comes down to a lower percent then it's
normal.
You may scan your system with latest virus definitioned
antivirus/adaware/spybot,search and destroy.Download,install and run the
latest builds in safe mode.

It does that BEFORE SP2 also.
