problems with XP SP2

2. When I open a word or excel document, the windows
installer pops up and "installs" what??? I don't know.
The documents also save really slowly.

3. How can I get rid of the original OS (XP PRO SP1) to
clean up disk space, and will this clear up problems?

This is how I found the program that was causing the
problem it was roxio easy seven

Go to start the control panel the admin tools then event
viewer.
Pick application event and look for error and right click
and check what program is causing the problem. In my
case it was easy creator seven by roxio and after
removing it my problem was cleared. At this time I cannot
get easy creator seven to reinstall but that is ok I have
six and like it better any way.
