View Full Version : SP2 Problems after Install

First the boot time runs about 3 to 4 minutes. Then I get an error message
regarding my McAfee Virus Security Center, "system might be running out of
resources or disk space. Close other apps and try restarting Active
Shield". I have a 40g drive with 86% space and have 512meg ram. When I
tried to look at the System Information, this error is encountered: "Can't
collect Information: Cannot acces the Windows Management Instrumentation
Software. Windows Management file may be moved or missing."

I went to msconfig and under Services almost all with the exception of maybe
4 services were all stopped. I uninstalled SP2 and tried again and I have
the same problem along with the fact that my sound card is also not
recognized as being installed.

I have done all suggestions for prior install of SP2 and other things and
still I am not getting SP2 installed.

Thanks
