The Dell laptop (Inspiron 8100) at the office has WinXP
Pro and whenever you minimize a program it is not showing
up in the taskbar. The only way to retrieve and maximize
the program back to its original state is to go into task
manager and pull it up that way. Did a search on the net
and could only pull up a similar problem with Win98
machines. Tried the Win98 solution (said to delete a
WinSRV file from "Add/Remove Programs" in Control Panel
but found no file named "WinSRV". There are many people
who use this computer and someone could have downloaded a
rogue program or changed a setting. Am unable to find it
and feel I'm missing something (probably right in front
of my face, but, I can't see it). Anybody have any ideas
as to why these programs are not showing up?
