Help! Computer expertise needed.

Ever since I upgraded my Win XP to SP2, it seems my computer talks to
itself all day long.

I have Zone Alarm Pro and it keeps a log of blocked ins and outs.

I see tons and tons of the following:

Incoming Source:172.30.0.1:17988 Dest:172.30.0.255:162
Incoming Source:172.30.0.1:17989 Dest:172.30.0.255:162
Incoming Source:172.30.0.1:17990 Dest:172.30.0.255:162
Outgoing Source:172.30.0.100:163 Dest:172.30.0.1:1900
Outgoing Source:172.30.0.100:138 Dest:172.30.0.1:138

etc.

The IP address of my computer is 172.30.0.100. I have Linksys router.

I think I read somewhere that there is something in SP2 that is some
kind of loop that might be causing this, but can't remember where I saw
this so don't know what to do to stop it.

I belive, since I have a router with hardware firewall AND ZA Pro that I
am not really being hacked.

XP Firewall is turned OFF, in case you are wondering.

If you look at the Microsoft webpage for XP2, it does say it fails to work
with zonealarm.

Try one of the other free firewalls, or wait until they upgrade zonealarm

Zone Alarm PRO? I don't use the free version and I've been unable to
find any other ZA users with this problem.

I'll go to the XP web and see what it says, though.

The Microsoft website doesn't differentiate between the free or pro version,
but does give specific version numbers it doesn't like.
