I recently bought a Dell PC with XP Home pre-installed.
It was working ok, although I had a few spasmodic problems with some USB
devices.

I then upgraded to XP Pro using a disk from my Uni (Campus Licence, etc).
The install went ok until I downloaded and installed Service Pack 1.
When I re-booted, none of my USB devices were recognised.

Has anyone come across this before?
And more importantly has anyone seen any reason for/solution to this?
I've tried Microsoft support site but with no success.

Any help would be gratefully received.

Thanks

Mark

Going to Device Manager and deleting all USB devices and rebooting oten will
solve the problem. WINXP will reload all USB drivers with the latest SP1
updates.
