View Full Version : Unzipping Multiple Files

I do not understand Microsofts need to change things that
work if they cannot make them better. I have a question on
how to unzip files in XP - I have multiple files that I
want to extract to the file that the zip is currently in.
I do not get the "Extract All" option except when
highlighting one file. This is a very important service to
me as I play The Sims - and if anyone knows anything about
this game, they know that having 100s or even 1000s of
zips is not uncommon. I cannot unzip each file
individually AND have to go through the 10+ screens to
make sure it gets to the right file. Please tell me there
is a way to unzip multiple files to the file the zips are
in - AND not have each zip open in a separate folder (this
is the default for the individual zips that I have to
override with 10+ screens).

Download and install an app like WinRAR or WinZip.
