Program will not run after sp2 install

I have a program that uses a browser type format to display its information.
After installing sp2 it will not run. It loads and I get the first page but
get a IE error message as if its looking to the web for the page and cannot
find it. I remove sp2 and the program works fine. I've tried tweaking the
security features ie: unblock the program etc but to no avail! It must be a
security setting but cannot find out what. Any help would be most
appreciated.

And see if SP2 compatibility update/configuration instructions are available
from the publisher of the misbehaving program.
