Copyable for Archival Purposes

Is the WINXP CD with the fancy hologram copyable for archival purposes? I
like to keep originals of all of my CDs and also my data disks at an offsite
location, but I also want to have the CD readily available to me should I
need to use it.

Yes, you can copy it and the copy works just like the original.
