I have items in my recycle bin and the recycle bin icon on
the desktop shows that there are files in it.

However, when I open the recycle bin, I see nothing.

I've changed my File/View settings to show all files and
unhide sytem files, but still nothing.

I've read Microsoft Knowledge Base Article - 136517...to
no avail.

Help please!

Thank you.

I suggest that you go to "Kellys XP Korner" at
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htmd and on the "Tweaks Page" go
to line 64, right hand column. There you will find "Repair/replace the
Recycle Bin". The instructions for using it are at the top of the Tweaks
page.

Hope this helps,
Milt

This seems to have solved the problem...for now.

However, after updating the registry, the contents were
still not visible, so I re-booted. Still no luck. So, I
Emptied Recycle Bin, deleted a file and there it was.
Interesting.

Thanks for the help, Milt.
