I have ordered the free CD for the SP2 on the Microsoft
web site as I do not feel comfortable with a download that
will take 6-8 hours on my old dial up modem. When ordering
I saw the title expressed as goo for "Windows XP
Professional SP2 English NA Patch CD web only Pro/Home."
I have XP "Home" edition. will this CD be correct for my
system.

The SP2 CD should be available (free) @ your local computer store.

It is the same for any version. (They do seem to try to put users of
Home off, onto that download, which I regard as rather a last resort)
