How can I change the icon of WinEdit files to the
stylized "E" that is the logo of WinEdit? When I go into
the Edit File Type dialog, I am given the choice only of
icons that are not commercial logos. I know there is a
way to change WinEdit files to the logo "E", but I don't
know what it is.

Hi,
In the Edit File Type Dialog, click Change Icon... button. On the resulting
window, browse to WinEdit.exe (located in your WinEdit installation folder)
for 'Look for icons in this file'. Now, you will see the list of icons that
WinEdit provides.
