Search command in XP

When my wife attempts to access the "search" function
from the "start" button nothing happens. The search
window will not open. When I log on as a different user
it works fine. It appears to be a setting issue but I
can't figure out how or where. Any ideas?

Hi Ernie,

Try this:

Click Start | Run | "regsvr32 /i shell32" and press Enter
Then, type "regsvr32 /i browseui"
