Does anyone have any ideas on why this might be occuring?:
When shutting down Windows XP, the machine takes up to 5
minutes to complete the task. I closed each of the
running services one by one and identified plug and play
as part of the problem. If I stop that service, the
machine shuts down in a few seconds, but my audio doesn't
work (there are several articles about PnP and ISA audio
card issues, but thats not the problem - the soundcard is
integrated on the motherboard and the machine is only a
few months old).
Not sure how to proceed from here... any ideas?
