XP SP2 installed, during reboot comes error: biosinfo.inf corr

Comes error: \windows\inf\biosinfo.inf file is either corrupt or missing.
Chat sessions with MS support suggesting going into xp setup option did not
work because the only option was "xp pro" and not "cancel windows xp setup"
option. Has anyone else had this problem?
I'm trying to get to the CD drive in DOS so I can load the file off of my XP
installation CD. I've been able to get there, but have not been able to find

I am having this same problem. Have you gotten it fixed yet? i could really
use some info on this. I dont have the set up cd. am i screwed?
