I just installed SP2, and I can't get it out of my face. It's
constantly asking me if I'm SURE I want to go to websites, even
trusted ones. Every time I open my browser, it's angry at my default
page... like I should click in a top bar to learn more about why my
default page is so dangerous. I HTML'ED MY OWN DEFAULT PAGE.

How do I turn these things off so they will let me use the internet in
peace? We have a hardware firewall, I have anti-virus, I have spybot
blockers. I don't need Microsoft to hold my hand on the internet. How
can these be turned off?

Thanks.

Launch Internet Explorer and from the toolbar select:
Tools > Pop-up Blocker > Pop-up Blocker Settings
and select your desired notification level settings.

The info is fine as far as it goes but I think many of us would rather have
an option to totally disable or uninstall the Information Bar. I find it
interfering with my ability to download, to watch streaming videos, etc. A
major pain you know where.
