WHEN SCREEN GOS TO SLEEP WILL NOT AWAKE?

If I let the sceen to go to sleep in XP PRO when I try to
use it all I get is an hourglass and a black screen. Just
started this. any ideas where to look for answers to
this ?

These problems with sleep / hibernate modes are just about always caused by
drivers or hardware incompatibility.
I recomend updating your drivers to the latest avaliable for your screen
(not the generic type) which should be avaliable for download at the
manufacturer's website.
