Hi,
Could someone explain the difference between msn messenger
and windows messenger? Which one do I want to use? Also,
I downloaded windows messenger setup (mmssetup.exe) but
when I tried to install it said I had a newer version
already on my machine. I remeber using 4.7 but after I
installed msn 6.2 I've been unable to locate or start
windows messenger. This is very confusing. Could some
one explain what's going on? I have a home network with 3
machines. 2 running xp and 1 running 98. I would like to
share control of desktop while I'm away on trips so I can
help home users when I'm on the road. I've been able to
get netmeeting working while I'm at home but have no idea
if this is going to work when I'm on the other side so to
speak. I contact the other machines my calling them their
computer names. Their Ip addresses are 192.168.1.101 so
how will I see them when I'm out of the house? Thanks for
