Simple Dumb Question - Outlook Cutting Off Attachments

My computer cuts out attachments which are legitimate and
not containing a virus. It does it for all attachments.
How do I disarm whatever is stopping receipt of these
simple message attachments. Thanks. Roger

Outlook, or Outlook *Express* ? The solutions are different.

This answer applies only to Outlook Express. In Outlook Express: click
Tools/Options/Security Tab/ uncheck the sentence "Do not allow attachments
to be, etc, etc,".
