removing driver

My system crashes everytime I try to remove the AOpen FM-
56 soft PCI modem driver from my computer using the
add/delete programs in control panels. Help!

Boot into Safe Mode and delete the driver.

Have you tried uninstalling the device (driver) through Device Manager??
Worth a try.
