SP2 Question

I had downloaded sp2 but was getting very annoyed by the Security Center
window always popping up during bootup. Is there a way to hide it so it
doesn't pop up everytime the pc starts up??
Also, my pc became very slow after sp2 was installed.What is going on to
make the pc so slow??
I did a rollover to the last day to remove the configuration of sp2 (that's
how annoyed I was).

That's overkill when a few changes will fix things. On the security
center just go into the preferences in the dialog box and turn off the
alerts that are bothering you. It only alert when there is an issue
with either the firewall, AV or automatic updates.

For slowness that generally repairs itself after a few days and three or
four reboots. The prefetch folder has to be rebuilt, the in built
optimization runs every three days. Defrag, use it normally for a few
days with reboots and defrag again. You should see improved performance.
