Hi Folks:

I have XP Professional since Xmas and so far it was
working fine. I have BlackIce as firewall and AVG as
antivirus. On August 25th I installed SP2 and since then,
my machine is way too slow!! Wheter I am in Word, Outlook,
Quicken or Internet, it is extremely slow.

Can I remove SP2 ?

Any help is appreciated.

I had the same problem, perform a system restore - it
only restores system files all data stays untouched. It
will remove the SP2 from your machine - my ISP advised me
of this when I called them becuse I lost my internet
access - they told me it was the SP2 that caused and a
restore would fix it - as you can see it has,

Good luck.
