Audio connection

I have recently moved to Australia from UK and have successfully been having
audio/video conversations on MSN messenger 6.2 with most of my contacts apart
from my girlfriends dad. We can establish a video link, but cannot establish
an audio link connection. He is using xp and possibly xp firewall. He reckons
hes done the audio wizard test and that was ok.
Any ideas that I can pass on to him would be appreciated.
