Renaming Files and Folders

Have lost the option to rename files and folders. Right
click on file icon no longer presents the option to
rename the file in the drop-down menu and the rename
option has disappeared in all other XP functions.

A program must be missing... What is it and how do I get
it back?

See if this works....highlight a file or folder and press the F2 key to
rename it.
