Background:
I am working on an automatic tester under Win-XP platform, during the test
I'm changing the NIC card properties back and forth from 10M halfduplex to
100M fullduplex, I need to stop the auto tester and perform the change in
the card "Properties" menu manually.
I am looking for a program that can change the NIC card properties (as
described above) without the need for manual interaction.
For the auto tester I am using TCL script language.
Thanks

What brand card? Are you testing cards from different
mfg'rs? Have you contacted their testing labs and looked at
the FAQs on their web sites?

We are NOT testing the NIC cards, we are using the NIC cards to test our
equipment.
We use several brands, and during the test of our equipment we need to
change the NIC card properties in an automatic maner. (the NIC card sends
data to our device)
We are looking for a software (under Win-XP) that can manipulate the NIC
card properties in an automatic maner with out the need of manual operation.
We can change the NIC card properties in the REGISTRY, but this action does
not effect the actual NIC settings and there is a need to reboot the PC in
order for the chages to take place.
We don't want to reboot the PC, so we are looking for other option to "pass"
the new settings from the REGISTRY to the NIC card.

You could write a macro that would be able to repeat the
actions.
