Is it possible to create a slideshow function for viewing all jpegs in a
folder in windows 2000 like XP can do automatically?

If it is just a program file that does this - can I copy it from my XP
machine over to my 2000 machine - if so where and what is that program
called?

Thanks

From what I've read (having never used Win2000), the slideshow features in
XP are not as nice as the ones that are in Win2000.

While viewing a folder with image files, you will see slideshow as an
option in the "Common Tasks" bar. Common Tasks has to be enabled in
Folder Options> General. Use the "Folders" button in the standard toolbar
to toggle between the display of "common tasks" and the directory tree.

There is also a "filmstrip" option. This View setting is present in folders
that have been customized as image folders. Thumbnails are shown as
a "filmstrip" across the bottom of the folder window. Above the
filmstrip, a larger rendering of the selected image displays.
