my address bar disappeared, do not know how to retrieve.

Right click on an empty space on the IE Explorer tool bar,
And make sure that you have selected Address Bar.

Look careful at the screen. Is the address bar near the side? If it is, drag
it to a more desired location (you might have to unlock toolbars - right
click on the gray area of any other visible toolbar and uncheck "Lock the
Toolbars")
Right click on any other toolbar gray area and make sure address bar is
checked

View>Toolbars. Checkmark Address bar. If it can't be slid to left, go back
to same and uncheck Lock Toolbars.
