Computer Hangs on restart after installing SP2

After installing SP2 i cant get to restart my computer
properly, it hangs. I unistalled and installed it again
and I still have the smae problem. Any help would be
appreciated.

Hello ,
There might be some programs, spywares and viruses on the computer that is
causing the installation to get corrupted each time. I would suggest format
the hard drive , install windows xp sp2 first and then go ahead all other
programs.
You can order for a free SP2 cd from the MS technet website ie www.technet.com

i have same problem, i can turn off the computer, but if
i try to restart, i get shutting down then it doesn't do
anything. i have to manually turn it off and back on.
