hidden keys

I have a Toshiba Satellite with Windows XP. I can not
find the hidden keyboard such as a degree symbol,etc.

They aren't hidden keys. Those aren't on any keyboard that I know of.
You need to open Character MAp. Find the symbol you want and clck on
it. It will give youa number such as 0388. You then go to your app,
hold down the ALT key and type that number on the numeric keypad
ALT-0988. The sysmbol will appear at the cusor.
