Like a fool, I installed XP SP2. After install, XP
decided to 'hide' my network cards - Onboard 3Com Gigabit
and BT Voyager Wireless PCI adaptor.
Device Manager will only show Network Adaptors if click
show Hidden devices. Have no LAN and no Wireless
Internet. Have uninstalled and re-installed.No Joy.
Uninstalled SP2 (prob a mistake) and still no Network
Adaptors. The cards show up on Diagnostics. What has SP2
done and How can I undo without a total re-format and
fresh windows install
thanks all

Go into add/remove programs and uninstall SP2.
