How to remove logon

Got someone with a logon for himself and one for his g/f. He wants to just
remove her's so they can just have one logon. Is that hard?...or dangerous?
Can deleting it cause problems?

Instead of deleting that account , just disable it , so if they need it
later they can just enable it and they can have all their settings back.
