Hi,

I have Zone Alarm Firewall on my laptop and I really like
it. After installing SP2 I turned off Windows XP Firewall
but it looks like it is still working since I am getting
pop up windows asking about programs etc. How to shut it
down for good. Thanks for your advice.

Hi Mona

ZoneAlarm gives pop-ups when a program tries to access the Internet. Are
you sure that they aren't coming from ZA? The XP Firewall doesn't monitor
outgoing access to the Internet - is that when the pop-ups appear?

HI
Pop-ups are from windows firewall. ZA pop-ups look
different. Sometimes I get pop-ups from both at the same
time...??? Any ideas?

SP2 puts a pop up on explorer. It is with the package. Just turn it
off.

Hi

You can turn off the pop-up blocker in Internet Explorer. Go to
Tools>Pop-up Blocker - you will then see two options to choose from.
