Task bar items not visible

[Task Gone]

I am using Windows XP home edition with multiple users
and on the main identity the task bar no longer displays.
No other users have this problem. How do I make the task
bar work again for the main identity?

Do you mean the IE toolbar or the Windows taskbar (with the Start button)?

Note the instructions at the top of the page,
then scroll down to line 117,
(Restore Taskbar and Start Menu)

Right-click the hyperlink, then click | Save Target As |
to download the file, "nodesktop.reg",
then double-click and follow the prompts.
