Hello
How do I restore the Default Icons for Internet Explorer and Control Panel
in Windows XP Pro. I had installed some theme, and while I have uninstalled
it now, the icons still remain.

Would be grateful for any help.

Best Regards,
Girish

If you don't find an answer try running System Restore to revert back to a
date prior to the problem. Like yesterday for example. To run System Restore
go to Start->Help and Support->Pick a task and click the link to System
Restore.

Hello Girish,

One way might be via TweakUI (for XP). If this is not
installed on your system, then download it from http://
www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/powertoys.asp

Note: V2.10.0.0 needs Windows XP SP 1

In TweakUI, navigate to
| Repair | Repair Icons | [Repair Now]
