In trying to upgrade the BIOS on my laptop, I am
instructed to copy the upgrade program to a boot diskette
and boot from it. But I can't locate instructions on how
to create a boot diskette. How do I do that?

Format the floppy and under "format options" check the box that states
"Create an MS-DOS startup disk".

Hi, John.

And to get to the formatting options, right-click on Drive A: in My
Computer.
