alot of error messages

i had to do a full recovery on xp & at the end i have
like 100 errors , i dont know what they pertain to ,here
are a few D:\windows\i386\lang\simhei.tt_ the rest of
these all have from D:\ <thru> lang\ so im not going to
type it every time . VGA950.FO_ ,
TINTLGNT.IM_ ,VOICEENG.CH_ ,
TINTLGL.IM_ ,WINAR30.IM_ ,SYSTEM32\NTDLL.DLL ,SYSTEM32
\SMSS.EXE , . The reason i had 2 do a reformat is i
could not get internet explorer to come up (online or off)
but it was on my taskbar .....those are just a few of the
errors i got ,,,,help ...

A reformat sounds a bit drastic just to try to fix an IE problem! But,
what's done is done. If you really did reformat and lost all your installed
applications and data, then you might as well start over. Boot from the
WinXP CD-ROM, repartition and reformat (if you like - it's optional), and
install WinXP from scratch. That will be a lot easier than trying to track
down and fix over 100 errors - and better, too.

If you're only kidding about having already reformatted, then it may be time
for an in-place upgrade, as described in this KB article:

As the article says, this will take about as long as a fresh install, and
you'll need to visit Windows Update as soon as you can get back online, but
it should preserve any still-installed apps and data, plus some of your
tweaks.
