Bombarded with adds, looks like I need it, but I just get
rid of them. Unfortunately, I signed up for GAIN, not
knowing what it was. How to get out seems very
complicated. I am new at computers, and boy, do I have a
lot to learn. I do get around OK, but am having problem
with all the flashing ads.

Get yourself some spyware software such as Ad-Aware or spybot, many others, if you
want a real laugh read how to get rid of GAIN (gator)

Uninstall GAIN and then use something like AdAware to remove the remnants
and they will go away.
