SP2

I have tried to install SP2 now on 10 occasions, each time
it stops & freezws at the start of 'backing up registry'
anybody any ideas what could be wrong.
I have followed all instructions for preparing to install
to the letter.

I would run error checking, Need help? Open help and
support and search for "error checking" .

No help there, thanks anyway.. PS I don't get any errors
for checking, it just freezes
