Hi,
I was using a WLAN PCI NIC (Netgear WG311 v2) on my XP Pro
(SP1) and this was running fine.
I upgraded the system to SP2, => BSOD right away.
It seems to be related to the Netgear application, but if
using the driver only it does no longer reboot but it does
not work for a very long period of time (using the repair
option works sometime otherwise it reboot the system ...)
I contacted Netgear support, of course they state their
application is fine and the issue is from Microsoft ...
Any help ?

I have had all of this trouble with the WG311v2 and SP2.
To solve it, you will need to use the US Robotics driver
from http://www.usr.com/support/product-template.asp?
prod=5416 . Don't let Windows choose the driver
automatically, do it manually. DO NOT use the Netgear
driver, it does not work with SP2.
uninstall the card, run the EXE file , reboot, let Windows
detect the card and choose the US Robotics driver. My
system is now stable at last.
