Internet Explorer Opens a Blank Page with a Placeholder
Icon Instead of a .pdf File in Adobe Acrobat Reader

SYMPTOMS
Internet Explorer may display a blank page with a
placeholder icon instead of displaying a Portable Document
Format (.pdf) file with Adobe Acrobat Reader.

The article 305153 did not help. The workaround does not
work if the download is from a pop-up, as there is no
opportunity to right-click. Eg, Texas Instruments TI-83
guides.

Any suggestions, links, ??

I suggest that you download the new Adobe Reader (not Acrobat reader). Hope
you are on broadband.
