A couple of days ago I was fiddling with settings & found
a place where I could choose different sounds. I reset my
sounds to "arena", which is really awful ( it sounds as
though the AOL woman is down a well). My problem is that
I can't find the place again and am a bit of a technophobe
as well. I just want my original sound setting back.
Pleeeeze help!!!

Katielou,
Start>Settings>Control Panel>Sounds and Audio Devices...you should be able
to take it from there.

You can also download wave files from the internet and
place them in your Media folder in windows to create
custom sounds, I have my computer setup to sound like the
computer on star trek (I get bored easily)
