windows explorer and the Dos promt

The machine that I was looking at orginally had WindowsME
and was upgraded to WindowsXP Home Edition. I was trying
to find the windows explorer and also the DOS prompt, but
could not find it listed, where is it hidden?

Did you try Start>>All Programs>>Accessories. Going down close to the bottom
you will find Windows Explorer. Halfway down you will find Command Prompt.
