When I open my Network Connections in My Computer, it is blank. I cannot find
my original XP cd that came with the PC when I purchased it or I would just
reload XP. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

Are you saying the Network Connection page opens and there are no
connections listed or the page does not open.

No connections. The page will open but it is blank. If I disconnect
everything and shut down the PC and hook everything back up will that work?

Rightclick open area near center of screen>Properties>Desktop tab>Customize
Desktop button>General tab>Now check all the desktop icons click OK and Apply
on next window. That will put all icons on your desktop including Network
Places.
It may be blank, but MSN should be listed for the IE (Internet Explorer).
Also,
go to: Start/Control Panel/and click Network Connections there should be two
entries, one for your ISP (Internet Service Provider) like AOL and the
second one
for your LAN (Local Area Network) listed.

I have tried that also. Still blank. I am talking to you from my work PC
because my connection at home is not working, which is confusing because I
have DSL and should always be connected. I am taking everything everyone is
telling me home to do.

Your connection has been deleted some how.
You will need to hook everything up then go to your network connections and
click on setup a new connection and follow the steps.
