View Full Version : SP2 and ebay registration

Since installing SP2 (for XP Home) have found it impossible/difficult to
register with some programmes - eg ebay. Pressing control doesn't make any
difference, neither does disabling firewall. What next?

The security against malicious sites can be obstructive for ones that
legitimately use Active controls and scripting. Where you are sure of
the site, go to Internet Options, Security page, click the Trusted Sites
icon, then the Sites button, and add the site to the list. You may need
to uncheck the 'secure sites only' box at the bottom
