I have had a reacurring problem with total system lock up
since installing SP2..(on wed 15Sept.)Whenever online
and accessing more than two sites at the same time my
entire puter would FREEZE...I could not close anything
nor could I shutdown my comp.... The only way to clear
my comp. was to 'crash' my harddrive...I sent multiple
"reports" to MICRO. and they kept telling me that they
did not know why nor how to fix this prob. OR THAT IT WAS
NOT THEIR PROB...........After finding post from others
having similar prob...after installing SP2... and trying
any fix's that seemed appropiate and going thur my entire
system I still had the FREEZE UP sooooo... I removed the
SP2 on Tues21Sept.,rebooted,cleaned and defraged my
hardrive and damn if my problem isn't gone my system
is running smoothly again......I don't know if this will
help anyonelse but the common issue for the symtoms that
I have read on here is THE @#@#$$# SP2 that MICRO
dosn't seem to want to address nor take any responsiblity
for............................................... ........
