Each time I try connecting messenger video or voice connection the program
crashes. Cannot disable firewall at the moment due to yet another M$ bug.
(SBS 2003 XP SP 2 group policy)

All other PC's/laptops work fine in the same SBS domain with, as far as I
can see, the same configuration.

Only main difference is the failing device is a Tablet PC.

it has all the symptoms of the UPnP problem but until I can disable firewall
(installed SBS patch which did not work) It's proving difficult.

Any suggestions would help.

Messenger itself should not crash, I will contact the Messenger team to
assist. Do you have MSNMsgr.exe or MSMsgs.exe in the firewall exceptions?
These need to be in the exceptions for the SIP traffic that the RTC uses for
the voice \ video. Additionally, if you are in "shielded" mode i.e. allow
no exceptions, then the voice video will fail as well.
