On my old PC running Windows 98, I had a program called Epson Status Monitor
2, which would give a me a few more than the standard utilities which come
with the Windows printer package (ie. it would tell me how much ink I had
left, etc).
I have recently started having printer problems and reinstalled it on my
machine, which runs XP. Now the program seems to be there, and fully
operational, but it can't find my printer - I only have one, so it's not
getting confused, and the printer, apart from the minor printing errors,
still works.
Has anyone used this program and come across this problem before?
If so, please let us know.
Oh, and BTW, is there an independent location where solutions like this are
published? Like each time someone has a problem that doesn't get covered by
the official FAQs? Something for the whizzkids to think about!
Cheers,
Ed
