i wasnt sure where to post this so dont hurt me.
i have been trying to run an ms-dos based game on windows
xp, but it keeps freezing/crashing. any how-to on how to
run an ms-dos game on windows xp?
set up:
windows xp
soundblaster live! sound card
pentium 4 2.0 Ghz processor

If it requires direct access to the hardware, it won't run on XP, since
the XP DOS prompt is only a simulated or virtual DOS environment. Your
only option is to setup a dual boot situation with DOS or a 9x version
to run "real" DOS for games.

It may be one which won't run under Windows XP. What game is it?
