can not wake from standby after sp2 is installed

Hej

i have been using one xp-pro computer as a file server on my home
network. It is set to enter standby mode after 10 minutes, and usualy
wakes up when one of the files on the computer is refered from another
computer.

after installing sp2 it does NOT wake up again, it could seem like sp2
ignores the setting for the network adapter which tells it to disable
power management.

looking in the registry though, it seem like the setting HAS been
recorded.

the thing still wakes up when the keyboard is pressed.

reverting back before sp2 the hole thing work like a beauty.

anyone got any hints?
